Niche Medical is a limited-scope adult medicine primary care micropractice in Indianapolis focused on prevention, metabolic health, and long-term wellness. IN Fitness Club offers a medically integrated membership that includes Niche’s medical services alongside the club’s fitness and wellness resources, providing a full and comprehensive approach to health.

- Introductory lifestyle medicine assessment
- Includes onsite blood draws (when appropriate) and direct care lab pricing for those not using insurance
- Includes prescriptions (if needed), referrals, orders for diagnostic testing
- Includes written summary of recommendations and resources
- Ideal for patients with acute needs, chronic disease or medical management, or in need of preventive care services seeking to establish an ongoing relationship
1 hour appointment / $400
- Condition-specific comprehensive medical evaluation
- Includes lab orders (when appropriate) and direct care lab pricing for those not using insurance if lab locations near you
- Includes prescriptions (if needed), referrals, orders for diagnostic testing
- Includes written summary of recommendations and resources
- Ideal for patients already established with a primary care physician but who are seeking condition-specific consultative services

1 hour appointment / $400
- Complete medical history, vital signs, and physical examination necessary for pre-operative / pre-procedural safety
- Includes onsite blood draws (when appropriate) and direct care lab pricing for those not using insurance
- Includes prescriptions (if needed), referrals, orders for diagnostic testing
- Labs and ECG (electrocardiogram for heart electricity evaluation) available onsite for an additional charge if indicated based upon evaluation or surgeon request
- Includes written summary of recommendations and resources for pre-procedure / pre-surgical medical and medication instructions
- Includes written evaluation sent directly to the requesting surgeon or physician performing the upcoming procedure
- Ideal for those without a primary care physician or who are unable to get in to have a pre-operative evaluation completed with their primary care physician in advance of an upcoming procedure

After nearly two decades practicing general internal medicine and serving as a residency program director, Dr. Laurel Fick launched Niche Medical to reimagine what primary care should look like- highly personalized, prevention-focused, and grounded in long-term health optimization.
Now located within InFitness Club in Indianapolis, Indiana, her practice blends the best of modern medicine with evidence-based lifestyle and hormone therapies to help patients feel and function their best for decades to come. She is passionate about “Medicine 3.0”- a proactive, data-informed approach to care that prioritizes metabolic health, longevity, and disease prevention over reactive treatment.
Dr. Fick is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, and a certified menopause practitioner through The Menopause Society. Her clinical interests include midlife women’s and men’s health, metabolic health, cardiovascular prevention, and the use of lifestyle-based therapies to prevent chronic disease and optimize quality of life.
Prior to founding Niche Medical, Dr. Fick spent over 16 years in medical education leadership and served on multiple national committees, including for the ACGME and the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine. An educator at heart, she is proud to continue to teach medical students and residents the art of excellent patient care at Niche.
Outside of work, Dr. Fick enjoys reading, traveling, playing and coaching volleyball, and attempting to keep up with a busy household of pets and preteens.
